Sportswear Stitcher

Overview

Sportswear stitchers specialise in using stitching machines to create quality sportswear, through knowledge of fabric, stitching, garments and quality control.

What you will learn

In this course you will learn about different fabric colours and understand minor faults of fabrics such as holes, stains and other quality issues. You will also gain knowledge of various garment panels i.e. sleeves, collar, front side and back side etc., knowledge about various accessories, types of threads, spi (stich per inch) and understand the concept of time and motion study.
