Overview

Aluminium fabricators specialise in aluminum fabrication, learning to perform cutting, filing, drilling, riveting techniques, as well as estimating, and measuring and marking objects.

What you will learn

In this course you will learn about  the properties of aluminum, and about different series, their sections and thickness. You will also learn how to use measuring tools, understand the different angles / shapes and sizes of aluminum sections, as well as the types of aluminum products and their uses. The course will also teach you how to  use hand tools and machines safely and properly, along with adopting and complying with the ethical values, observing safety precautions and exercising first aid and fire fighting. The course will also teach you how to measure door frames, door panels, window frames, window panel, partitions, glass/boards, curtain walls and cladding sheets etc.

Training Outcome

After completion of this course you will be able to prepare general drawings, understand sketches and define locations, calculate the basic mathematical entities and estimate product material requirements. You will also have learnt how to cut material as per measurements, along with drilling, filing, punching, screwing and riveting. The course will also teach you how to prepare casement window frames and panels, open able windows, fix windows, how to make double panel and multi panel sliding windows with fly mesh. You will also learn how to install partitions, shower cabins, and make silicon fillings.
