This course will train the learners to prepare food complete with diet and nutrition plans and manage and organize other kitchen activities.

What you will learn

In this course, you will learn about basic food ingredients and their nutritive value, describe menu planning and food costing, as well as understand food storage and hygiene. Through the course you will also learn about the basics of kitchen management, procedures for opening and closing the kitchen, and about Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP). The course also includes training in basic first aid, personal hygiene as well as health and safety practices.
