Barista Skills (Fast Food)

Overview

This course will assist the trainees to create a delicious assortment of coffees, tees, hot chocolates, smoothies, juices and various fast food items.

What you will learn

This qualification will develop knowledge, understanding and skills to work as a Barista. The main role of a Barista is to make wonderful coffee types, but trainees will also learn how to use equipment to make tea, hot chocolate, smoothies, juices, burger, pizza and various fast food items. The emphasis of this course is to bring together the knowledge and skills to prepare excellent quality drinks and fast food items every time.

Training Outcome

After the completion of this training program, the trainees would be able to prepare the coffee, take customer orders and payments, grind fresh coffee beans, serve sandwiches and cakes, place order for new stock, operate pieces of equipment to produce drink, check drink meets quality standards and correct as necessary, check and clean equipment before use and after use, dispose of waste safely and hygienically, handle and store products and ingredients correctly and safely, make all types of drink Cappuccino, Espresso, Latte, Americano, Tea, Hot chocolate, Smoothies and Juices, prepare different Hot & Cold sandwiches, process different breads, prove, bake and fry fermented dough products, finish and pack fermented dough products, prepare various Bakery Products
