Aluminum Fabricator

Overview

This course will help the trainees to learn about aluminum fabrication whereby they perform cutting, filing, drilling as well as estimating, measuring and marking objects and also using riveting techniques.

What you will learn

In this course you will gain insight about the properties of aluminum, different series and their sections and thickness. You will also learn how to use measuring tools, understand the different angles/shapes and sizes of aluminum sections, as well as the types of aluminum products and their uses. The course will also teach you how to safely use hand tools and machines, along with adopting and complying with the ethical values, observing safety precautions and exercising first aid and fire fighting. In addition to this, this course will allow you to measure door frames, door panels, window frames, window panel, partitions, glass/boards, curtain walls and cladding sheets etc.

Training Outcome

After completion of this course you will be able to prepare general drawings, understand sketches, define locations, calculate the basic mathematical entities and estimate product material requirements. You will also have learnt how to cut material as per measurements, along with drilling, filing, punching, screwing and riveting. The course will also teach you how to prepare casement window frames and panels, open able windows, fix windows, how to make double panel and multi panel sliding windows with fly mesh. Moreover, you will also gain insight about how to install partitions, shower cabins, and make silicon fillings.
