Getting to know PSDF

Our purpose-You will be part of the largest skills development fund in Pakistan. PSDF’s purpose is to shape the future and well-being of our poor and vulnerable youth by giving them access to skills training of the highest standard so they can find sustainable employment and income-generating opportunities in Pakistan and beyond.

The impact we have created-PSDF started its operations in the 4 poorest districts of Punjab. Since 2016, the geographical remit has expanded to the entire 36 districts of Punjab. PSDF has trained almost 300,000 underprivileged youth across Punjab, which includes 180,000+ male and 110,000+ female graduates. These graduates have been trained in approximately 250 demand-driven and market relevant trades across 10 sectors.

How the Role looks like

Responsible for making research-driven recommendations for the design and development of new PSDF Training Programs and Initiatives. Leading the growth and expansion of the digital verticals for PSDF’s Programs. Leading the reporting and analytics functions of the PD Team to improve PSDF’s Program Operations. Developing reports and analytics from the gathered feedback to make programmatic recommendations to improve training programs.

The primary job responsibilities for this role will be to:

  1. Lead the designing and development of programs and feedback gathering activities of PSDF’s training programs.
  2. Lead the reporting and data analysis functions of Program Development team and prepare data visualizations and presentations from PSDF’s business data in a timely and accurate manner.
  3. Identify areas of gathering feedback and develop methodologies for end-to-end TSP engagement to improve reporting for all PSDF training programs.
  4. Maintain working relationships with existing and potential training providers for feedback gathering purposes.
  5. Assist in the development of operational viability of programs based on feedback reporting and develop business cases for new and on-going programs.
  6. Support the PD Team in the development of Program target plans based on future PSDF targets, past performance of training programs and approved operating procedures.
  7. Assist in the planning and execution of training need analyses / identification exercises to identify the skills training requirements w.r.t. employers / sector-focused trainings / new training interventions.
  8. Assist in the development of validation studies with the respective stakeholder groups (youth, industries, subject matter experts, and TSP’s) to authenticate / validate the skills gap concerns.
  9. Identify new opportunities for the growth and development of PSDF’s Digital Verticals.
  10. Participate in all initiatives related to PSDF’s digitalization process and represent PSDF in related meetings.
  11. Assist in the on-boarding of instructional designers / developers to establish clear, behavioral-based, relevant learning objectives for new or updated offerings in PSDF’s Digital Verticals.
  12. Review and validate designs with instructional designer/developers at key development milestones.
  13. Assist the Manager Programs & Digital Transformation for all new initiatives and completing assignments with external consulting firms.
  14. Assist the Manager Programs & Digital Transformation in any other activities, duties, and responsibilities assigned to him/her from time to time.

What do we expect you to achieve?

The main accountabilities for this role include:

  1. Research based Program Design.
  2. Designing reporting / feedback gathering framework for PSDF’s training programs and getting it approved. Program based analysis.
  3. Creating feedback gathering surveys / activities for different stakeholders at different lifecycle stages of PSDF training programs.
  4. Ensuring stakeholder uptake of feedback submission activities and their timely feedback submission.
  5. Creating reports from gathered feedback for analyses and to make programmatic recommendations.
  6. Ensuring on-boarding and uptake of PSDF’s digital programs on PSDF’s LMS in its second phase.
  7. Incorporating PSDF’s digital programs in all PSDF’s training programs.
  8. Assist in the development of or upgradation / adaptation of curricula for PSDF’s Digital Verticals.
  9. Providing timely analyses to facilitate the development of new initiatives and partnership opportunities for PSDF.
  10. Maintaining working relations with various TVET & educational establishments, chambers, and industry associations for feedback gathering purposes.

Are you the right fit for this Job?

To apply, you must have:

  1. Bachelor’s (Hons) degree in Business Administration/Marketing/Economics/Social Sciences or a relevant discipline from a HEC recognized / accredited university.
  2. A minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant / similar field.
  3. Experience in Program Management / Program Execution / Program Design / Curriculum Development will be preferred.

The experience for this role requires you to have:

  1. Knowledge of research methodologies
  2. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
  3. Excellent research and report writing skills.
  4. Excellent problem solving & analytical skills.
  5. Knowledge of project management: ability to design, plan and end-to-end implementation complex projects to their success.
  6. Understanding of data quality audit techniques
  7. Ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and calculate training ROI in terms of impact
