Our purpose

You will be part of the largest skills development fund in Pakistan. PSDF’s purpose is to shape the future and well-being of our poor and vulnerable youth by giving them access to skills training of the highest standard so they can find sustainable employment and income-generating opportunities in Pakistan and beyond.

The impact we have created

PSDF started its operations in the 4 poorest districts of Punjab. Since 2016, the geographical remit has expanded to the entire 36 districts of Punjab and other districts of Sindh, Balochistan & KPK. PSDF has trained almost 600,000 underprivileged youth across Punjab. These graduates have been trained in approximately 250+ demand-driven and market-relevant trades across 8 sectors.

How the Role looks like

This position is responsible for leading, developing and implementing talent and cultural transformation strategy to inculcate performance driven culture and strengthen organizational excellence by attracting best talent and create an environment of recognition and learning & development in the company through innovative intervention.

The primary job responsibilities for this role will be to:

  1. Develop organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues, contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization manpower planning and organizational structure.
  2. Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans. Leads employment branding initiatives. Manage recruitment team to achieve recruitment KPIs and compliance.
  3. Develop guidelines and toolkits to guide HoDs and Managers and employees on conducting effective performance appraisals process.
  4. Define and communicate clear performance criteria and linking performance management system with retention, development, and succession planning initiatives.
  5. Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, or consultations with HoDs and managers.
  6. Develop a fair, equitable and competitive total compensation and benefits strategy that fits and is aligned to the organization’s strategy and business goals.
  7. Design and initiate employee engagement activities to achieve desired employee satisfaction score.
  8. Digitalize the HR processes in coordination with IT department to achieve efficiency in HR operations.
  9. Oversee the administration functions like facility management, travel & logistics management etc.
  10. Closely collaborate with Finance to prepare Admin & HR budget.

Are you the right fit for this Job?

To apply, you must have:

  1. Bachelor’s (Hons) in Human Resource Management/ Business Administration or a relevant/ similar discipline from an HEC-recognized / accredited university.
  2. Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role in a relevant/similar field.

The experience for this role requires you to have:

  1. Effective decision making and problem-solving ability.
  2. Ability to understand different organizational work culture dynamics.
  3. Ability to build strong working relationships.
  4. Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
