Getting to know PSDF
Our purpose-You will be part of the largest skills development fund in Pakistan. PSDF’s purpose is to shape the future and well-being of our poor and vulnerable youth by giving them access to skills training of the highest standard so they can find sustainable employment and income-generating opportunities in Pakistan and beyond.
The impact we have created-PSDF started its operations in the 4 poorest districts of Punjab. Since 2016, the geographical remit has expanded to the entire 36 districts of Punjab. PSDF has trained almost 300,000 underprivileged youth across Punjab, which includes 180,000+ male and 110,000+ female graduates. These graduates have been trained in approximately 250 demand-driven and market relevant trades across 10 sectors.

How the Role looks like
The main responsibilities for this role include
- Receive user complaints over Phone / E-Mail and Generate Trouble Tickets by Logging the incident into Help Desk / Trouble Ticketing Application.
- Document, track issues until Closure of Trouble tickets and Report Resolution to End User
- Provide a high level of Technical Support to End-Users
- Perform various Hardware Support tasks at End-User site(s) including but not limited to Network Support and PC Support Server Management
- Solve minor problems like Password Reset, File Restore etc.
- Walk users through usage of various Application systems
- Collect all relevant information from the end-users in order to accurately isolate and characterize faults and attempt to resolve them.
- Make decisions on the basis of personal judgment.

- Closure of Network and Desktop incidents
- Network and IT Equipment uptime
- End user Service Request Clouser
Are you the right fit for this Job?
To apply, you must have
- Intermediate (ICS) / Bachelor’s (Hons) (BSCS – preferred) or any relevant degree from an HEC-recognized / accredited university.
- 0-1 year of experience
- Knowledge of Bootstrap, Javascript, Canva, Microsoft Office and basic networking will be preferred
The required experience for this role requires you to have
- Solid understanding of installation, configuration, and troubleshooting processes for software, hardware, networking and accessory equipment.
- Knowledge of PCs, laptops, TCP/IP, desktop applications, Windows, MS Office [Word/Excel/Access/PowerPoint]
- Proficient in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of MS Office and basic desktop applications.
- Knowledge of IP phone connectivity and troubleshooting. Server management (Microsoft)
