Getting to know PSDF

Our purpose-You will be part of the largest skills development fund in Pakistan. PSDF’s purpose is to shape the future and well-being of our poor and vulnerable youth by giving them access to skills training of the highest standard so they can find sustainable employment and income-generating opportunities in Pakistan and beyond.

The impact we have created-PSDF started its operations in the 4 poorest districts of Punjab. Since 2016, the geographical remit has expanded to the entire 36 districts of Punjab. PSDF has trained almost 300,000 underprivileged youth across Punjab, which includes 180,000+ male and 110,000+ female graduates. These graduates have been trained in approximately 250 demand-driven and market relevant trades across 10 sectors.

How the Role looks like

The main opportunities and challenges for this role are to

  1. Greet and welcome guests by maintaining visitor register and keep front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper etc.)
  2. Answer questions/queries/incoming calls and address complaints. Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email, securing parcels etc.
  3. Receive letters, packages etc. and prepare outgoing mails by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc.

  5. Manage / execute day-to-day operations of office administration by following defined processes and procedures and ensure agreed timeliness are met to deliver best services.
  6. Ensure smooth and timely processing of payments/invoicing of assigned domain as per defined SOPs and ensure that all related documentation (Electronic/hardcopy) is complete for audit purpose.
  7. Responsible for travel arrangement for internal customers.
  8. Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and] expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.

What do we expect you to achieve?

The main accountabilities for this role include

  1. Consistent communication flow/plan compliance
  2. Every guest at reception should be attended within 2 minutes and gets visiting badge before entering the office.
  3. All service requests/invoices/bills are dealt within stipulated time with accuracy.
  4. Compliance of Admin SOPs

Are you the right fit for this Job?

To apply, you must have

  1. Intermediate / Bachelors (preferred) in any discipline from HEC recognized/ accredited university
  2. 0-1 year of experience.

The required experience for this role requires you to have

  1. Familiarity with office machines and systems (e.g. exchange, fax, printer etc.)
  2. Knowledge of office management
  3. Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
