Getting to know PSDF
Our purpose-You will be part of the largest skills development fund in Pakistan. PSDF’s purpose is to shape the future and well-being of our poor and vulnerable youth by giving them access to skills training of the highest standard so they can find sustainable employment and income-generating opportunities in Pakistan and beyond.
The impact we have created-PSDF started its operations in the 4 poorest districts of Punjab. Since 2016, the geographical remit has expanded to the entire 36 districts of Punjab. PSDF has trained almost 300,000 underprivileged youth across Punjab, which includes 180,000+ male and 110,000+ female graduates. These graduates have been trained in approximately 250 demand-driven and market relevant trades across 10 sectors.

How the Role looks like
Responsible for identifying and shortlisting potential opportunities, establishing relations with potential employers, and facilitating in structuring potential partnership models with organizations.
The primary job responsibilities for this role will be to:
- Assist in researching and identifying potential funding sources, including local and international donors, grants, corporate sponsorships, and partnerships.
- Compile and maintain a database of identified funding opportunities.
- Support the Manager in setting partnerships and business development objectives, targets, and initiatives.
- Track progress and provide regular updates on these objectives.
- Help develop comprehensive funding strategies by gathering necessary information and assisting in the preparation of strategy documents.
- Support in identifying opportunities to secure financial support for PSDF’s programs.
- Assist the Manager in implementing strategic business development plans, including tracking and reporting on annual and quarterly targets and objectives.
- Provide updates on the progress of these plans.
- Conduct preliminary research on potential employer partners and their needs.
- Help prepare presentations, proposals, and reports for potential funders and partners.
- Help develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating stakeholder meetings.
- Assist in preparing materials and information for negotiations with prospective donors and partners.
- Assist the Manager in developing and implementing plans to create new revenue streams for PSDF.
- Assist in engaging with senior management of potential employers, both national and international, to promote PSDF’s profile and benefits.
- Prepare initial drafts of reports on grant activities and funding status for senior management review.
- Develop quarterly calendar updates comparing achievements against targets, providing insights on progress.
What do we expect you to achieve?
The main accountabilities for this role include:
- Number and relevance of potential funding sources identified and added to the database.
- Number of partnerships or business development objectives successfully supported and tracked.
- Percentage of progress updates, presentations, and reports submitted on or before deadlines.
- Number of viable new revenue streams identified and supported through preliminary research and presentations.
- Monitoring and reporting on the achievement of business development and funding objectives, comparing them against targets.
- Ensuring timely preparation and accuracy of reports, presentations, and proposals for senior management and potential funders.
Are you the right fit for this Job?

- Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Economics / Marketing / Business Administration Social Sciences or any relevant/similar degree from an HEC-recognized/accredited university.
- Minimum 2 Years of experience in relevant/similar field.
The experience for this role requires you to have:
- Good knowledge of customer account management.
- Good knowledge of business development techniques.
- Understanding and experience of research and market analysis tools.
- Understanding and experience of presentation and proposal tools.
- Strong research, writing, and organizational skills.
