Skills for Farms
Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) launched its scheme, Skills for Farms in August 2013. Contracts were signed with seven Training Service Providers to impart trainings in 22 trades.Under the scheme, total 1995 trainees from the districts of Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Lodhran and Muzzafargarh completed their trainings.
Skills for Farms was intended to encourage trainers to provide accredited training’s in livestock and agriculture sector. Trainings were being provided in: Village veterinary worker, tunnel farming, pest management, grain storage management, nursery development, global GAP implementation, skilled poultry worker, post-harvest management and various other courses relevant to livestock and agriculture sector.
